Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 3pm plus 2 to 3 other days depending on hotel occupancy levels.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
–Clean and service assigned guest rooms in accordance to established quality and performance standards in a required time period.
–Replace soiled towels.
–Replace soiled linens and make beds.
–Wash bathroom sinks.
–Wash toilet bowl.
–Clean bathroom bathtub/shower stall.
–Clean bathroom shelves and amenity tray.
–Replenish toilet paper dispenser and tissue paper dispenser.
–Empty waste basket and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
–Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, concierge materials and bathrooms items such as soaps, shampoos, shower caps, hair dryers.
–Dust furniture, under furniture, baseboards, windowsills, window blinds, draperies, light fixtures, mirror, pictures frames, bed frame, light shades, phone, television and radio clock.
–Ensure enough hangers and guest laundry bag are in the closet.
–With the help of another housekeeper or houseman, turn mattresses on a regular basis.
–Organize and stock cleaning cart. Keep cart well stocked, clean and tidy.
–Organize linen closets on floors assigned by sorting and counting them according to each floor needs.
–Request/report repair services to the front desk when needed.
–Complete work accurately and in a timely manner, any assigned paperwork.
Additional duties may be added as needed by the day to day operations of the hotel.
— Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and provide employer with official proof of vaccination.
— Wear a mask during work indoor as mandated by the City and County Of San Francisco.
–Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not obligatory.
–Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
–Must be customer service oriented, always polite and a good listener.
–Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Physical demands include:
–Carrying and lifting items of up to 20 pounds frequently
–Pushing and pulling a cart of up to 30 pounds on a daily basis
–Ability to bend, lift, stretch, twist, reach with your body, arms and or legs on a daily basis.
–Trunk strength: ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of your body repeatedly or continuously overtime without “giving out” or fatiguing.
